Shelly Bulycz is a proud member of the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation and brings more than fifteen years of leadership experience supporting governance within Indigenous, nonprofit, and community organizations. Her educational background includes management, administrative law, governance, human resources, labour relations, and organizational behaviour.
Prior to joining the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce, Shelly spent eleven years working with the governing bodies of the University College of the North, where she provided legislative guidance and oversaw bylaws, policies, and governance records. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her commitment to transparent decision-making, accountable governance structures, and strengthening long-term organizational sustainability.
We are proud to welcome Shelly as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce and look forward to her leadership as we continue to support and advance Indigenous business and economic development across our communities.
