Your Weekly Connection to Indigenous Economic Development

The Indigenous Chamber of Commerce’s (ICC) weekly newsletter is the cornerstone of our communications strategy and one of the most effective ways we keep our community informed. Every Thursday, the ICC delivers this newsletter to a committed and steadily growing readership made up of business owners, community leaders, partners, and supporters of Indigenous economic development.

Through this platform, readers gain insight into our ongoing work, upcoming opportunities, and the broader landscape of Indigenous business in Manitoba and across Canada.

What's Inside Each Edition

Each edition of the newsletter is carefully curated to provide timely, relevant, and meaningful content. Typically, our issues feature short updates on our current projects: whether that involves advocacy work, training programs, partnerships, or new initiatives taking shape behind the scenes.

We also highlight upcoming events such as workshops, networking gatherings, and community engagements that offer valuable opportunities for members and the broader public to participate in the ICC’s mission.

Staying Informed on What Matters

In addition, we include short analyses or commentaries on current affairs related to economic reconciliation, Indigenous-led business development, procurement opportunities, and policy changes that affect our members. This ensures that our newsletter is not only a source of information but also a resource for staying knowledgeable about the evolving economic landscape.

Spotlight on Our Members

One of the most important and well-loved sections of our newsletter is our membership features. These feature profiles spotlight the meaningful work that ICC members are undertaking across a wide range of sectors. Whether you are a new entrepreneur, an established business, community organization, or other, these features offer an excellent opportunity to share your story and highlight your commitments to Indigenous economic development.

Our goal is to ensure that the accomplishments and insights of our members receive the recognition they deserve, while also encouraging collaboration and inspiration throughout our network.
