The Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is set to host its annual Moonlit Masquerade Ball on Tuesday, October 21 at the Delta Marriott Hotel in downtown Winnipeg. This signature gala offers a refined evening where the elegance of formal attire meets the mystery of masked gathering all in celebration of the year’s work toward building a more prosperous economy for Indigenous entrepreneurs and communities.
Guests are encouraged to arrive dressed in formal wear and their most dramatic masks, opening the door to an enchanting social evening that blends ambiance, connection, and purpose. Inside, the atmosphere will come alive with live entertainment, gourmet dining, and opportunities for meaningful networking among community and business leaders.
At its core, the masquerade provides a creative backdrop for forging and deepening professional relationships in an elegant setting that encourages conversations to stretch beyond the ballroom and into ongoing collaboration.
Last year’s gala, held at the historic Fort Garry Hotel, marked the 20th anniversary of the Chamber. That evening celebrated the organization’s journey, honored founders, and connected business leaders, government representatives, and community members through speeches, cultural performances, and shared vision.
A highlight was the fundraising effort: nearly $1,960 was raised for Community 204, combining mask auction proceeds and generous contributions from sponsors. This year’s Moonlit Masquerade Ball promises to build on that momentum; continuing to champion Indigenous entrepreneurship while offering an elegant, engaging evening that blends networking, celebration, and cultural connection.
For those looking to elevate their presence at the gala, the ICC offers a range of sponsorship opportunities tailored to showcase businesses and organizations. Packages include Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and Silver tiers, as well as unique roles such as Décor, Entertainment, or Bar Sponsor.
Each option provides valuable benefits – from program recognition to reserved seating and speaking opportunities – ensuring sponsors are not only supporting Indigenous but also gaining meaningful visibility among a distinguished audience of community and business leaders.
