Neebing Golf Tournament

Miigwetch, Maarsii, Ekosi!

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2023 Neebing Golf Tournament. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

After a brief hiatus due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the ICC is excited to announce the revival of our annual golf tournament!

The ICC “Neebing” golf tournament gets its name from the Ojibwe word for "summer", which of course is when our golf tournament takes place. During the summer season, the Anishinaabe people would gather in large groups and engage in various social activities, including Powwows, Sundance's and feasts to celebrate various milestones.  Our golf tournament serves as our version of those events and is meant to bring together Indigenous and Non-Indigenous individuals, prospective chamber members and current chamber members to celebrate the relaunch of the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce and the numerous milestones that have taken place within the last year.

Join the ICC, our board of directors and our members for the Neebing (summer) golf tournament on Thursday July 20th at the scenic Bridges Golf Course in Headingly MB, for a day of connection and networking between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous companies and individuals alike.

"Events like these provide a fantastic opportunity to catch up with entrepreneurs and business leaders and strengthen our business community's bonds."

"A fun day of at Bridges for the Neebing Golf Tournament with new friends and colleagues. Congratulations to Rhonda Forgues and her Indigenous Chamber of Commerce team on a successful event!"
