Alexander Hupe is a Winnipeg based entrepreneur, founding Shortline Moving Solutions in 2015. Under Alexander’s leadership, Shortline has grown into a diversified operation encompassing: residential and commercial moving, warehousing, 3PL logistics, appliance delivery, specialty freight, equipment hauling and winter-road operations. The combined companies employ approximately 105 staff and manage a large, mixed fleet serving government, corporate, and private-sector clients across Manitoba and Northwest Ontario. He has significant experience responding to government and institutional RFPs, managing long-term service contracts, and more recently, mergers and acquistions. His companies are provincially and federally registered Indigenous businesses and active participants in Indigenous economic development initiatives in Manitoba. Alexander’s long-term commercial interests include building durable, well-run enterprises that can operate reliably in challenging environments, including remote and northern regions.
