Matthew Sabourin is the co-founder of La Brasserie Nonsuch Brewing Co., a Winnipeg-based, majority Indigenous-owned craft brewery and hospitality company established in 2016. Under his leadership, Nonsuch has become known for its high-quality beer, elevated culinary programming, and thoughtfully designed in-person experiences that bring people together.
A proud member of the Red River Métis community, Matthew views entrepreneurship as more than business building. His work is rooted in community, long-term impact, and cultural responsibility. He prioritizes collaboration, authentic storytelling, and creating spaces where people feel a genuine sense of belonging. Through Nonsuch, he aims to balance innovation with tradition while contributing to a stronger, more vibrant cultural landscape in Manitoba.
